Scorpion Digestion
A scorpion takes part in every type of feeding mode. In most cases, scorpions eat insects since there are a variety of them. The food is semi-digested by juices that help this. Particles speed up this process of digestion if the food is too large. The food passes from the mouth to the pharynx and to the esophagus. Then, it goes down to the gut and through the anus once the process is finished. The food exits the scorpion through the anus as feces. [1]
